           I chose to do Psychoanalytical lens as I think this is common in Lolita and the Scarlet Letter. I also like to see and know why characters act a certain way? Why does Humbert like young women? Why does Hester not say who the father of her child is? I hope to find out why while reading both of the books.  Overall I hope to answer "Why do people act the way they do?"
